Listing Summary Number of Apps in this Listing: 1 ?
Indoor Cycling Coach LT is a free Android application that provides users with two types of Spinning-style exercise routines. We created this initial "Lite" version a couple of years ago, with a small amount of revenue being generated from an advertising panel.
Our ambition was to create a premium version, providing additional exercise routines, Facebook integration, approximate miles/km covered and calories burned, and other enhancements. Of course this enhanced version wouldn't have show any adverts, and would be sold at around the $4.99 price tag.
Alas, other commitments are fighting for our attention, and the app was always a spare-time effort. All code is in native Java, and we've completed around 90% of the functionality for the Premium version; it's mostly just the testing that's left to do. The app has a ravenous fanbase, and they are hungry for this Premium version, which we doubt we'd have the time to finalise any time soon.
This sale contains the current live Lite version, and the work-in-progress Premium version in its current, unfinished form. The Premium version follows a separated service architecture, so it would be reasonably trivial to detach the logic from the UI layer and put some more eye-pleasing visuals to replace our front end, something which we've always lacked the artistic ability to produce.
We suggest that the potential buyer should finalise the Premium version and redo the visuals in a brighter and breezier style, and then retroactively fit these visuals onto the Lite version to unify the brand. The Premium release should allow you to make back a large percentage of your initial app purchase expenditure very quickly, which should go some way to justifying the outlay.
After this we would recommend further development in three areas:
- Further social integration
- Customisable and shareable workout routines
- An iOS version
The bulk of our emails from customers are requests for features of this sort, and a push towards the "sharing" aspect (and of course an iOS version) would pull in many new users.
